The management tab of the restriction properties window allows you to control which management-level features (for example, supervisor functions) will be available to users who are granted the restriction pattern you are currently editing or creating. This tab contains several sub-tabs. Most of these contain a common set of properties relating to the subject of that tab (for example, the options on the web rooms sub-tab allow you to define restrictions on viewing and editing web rooms).
determine restriction type, described above), Only the general, outbound groups and reports sub-tabs are available when you are defining relationship-based restrictions. In this topic:
The following option is available, no matter which sub-tab you have selected:
Determine restriction:
For each object separately: Object-based restrictions are standard restrictions (and all sub-tabs described below are available).
Depending on the related outbound group: Relationship-based restrictions are quick, and secure, supervisor restrictions. When you select this, you choose one or more outbound groups. The supervisor will see only the objects related to surveys associated with the outbound group (surveys/lists/agents/calls). Only three sub-tabs are available with relationship-based restrictions: general, outbound groups, and reports.
The options available in each sub-tab (except for the general tab) are as follows:
Allow creation of new objects: Grant the supervisor the authority to add new items (e.g. on the agents tab, this is permission to add new agents).
Allow deleting of objects: Grant the supervisor the authority to delete the selected item(s) (e.g. on the agents tab, this is permission to delete the selected agents).

View: Grant the supervisor the authority to view the selected item(s) (e.g. on the agents tab, this is permission to view the selected agent).
Edit: Grant the supervisor the authority to view and edit the properties of the selected item(s) (e.g. on the agents tab, this is permission to view and edit the selected agent).
Default object: Grant the supervisor the authority to change the default settings of survey, lists, agents, etc., as found in the defaults window.
New - Created with this restriction: If this option is selected, the supervisor can view and edit only those items (e.g. on the agents tab, this is permission to view/edit agent details) created by a supervisor under the same restriction pattern.
New - Created with another restriction: If this option is selected, the supervisor can view and edit only those items (e.g. on the agents tab, this is permission to view/edit agent details) created by a supervisor under any restriction pattern.
Some sub-tabs contain other options. You can find descriptions of these options in the appropriate section below:
