Modules tab (restriction properties)
Note: restriction patterns changed significantly in version 5.4.3. If you are using a version prior to 5.4.3, please see adding or modifying a restriction pattern prior to version 5.4.3.

The modules tab of the restriction properties allows you to control which AskiaFace modules will be available to users who are granted the restriction pattern you are editing or creating.

Note: you can use the modules tab to set restrictions on your own custom API modules, as well as to the standard modules. To do so, you first need to add your custom API modules to AskiaField; they will then appear here in the modules tab, allowing you to set appropriate restrictions. For details, see adding custom API modules to your AskiaField installation. Note, however, that you must ensure your custom module performs appropriate security checks for user name, password, and restriction patterns.

To open the modules tab, open the view tab of the ribbon, then click restrictions (the restriction properties window opens), and finally click the modules tab.
