Sending DoPanel links from a CATI interview

It is possible to send out DoPanel links, via email, during CATI interviews. This allows you to run multi-mode surveys, beginning in CATI mode and continuing on the Web.

Note: This feature is available in CCA version 5.3.5.13 and later.

In order to use this feature, you need to ensure the following:

Your survey is set up as a task in Supervisor, and is set up as a web survey.
It has a sample list with the phone and email fields populated with relevant data.
You are using CCA version 5.3.5.13 or later.

Note: please keep in mind that when you use a DoPanel link, the Web interview will not be a continuation of the previous CATI interview. If the option keep incomplete interviews is enabled in the survey task general properties, you’ll end up with two interviews in the QES for that particular contact (one for each interviewing mode).

To automatically send invitation emails to respondents from askiaclient (voice), you need to define a routing instruction in your survey with the send email action, and define the email message that will be sent. For details, see send email action in the askiadesign Assistant.

By using the appropriate keyword in the email message, you can ensure that it contains a DoPanel link:

[ccaDoPanelLink]

In the email message, this keyword will be replaced with a start link to the survey.

The list of keywords you can include in the email message is as follows. Note that these keywords must be placed between square brackets in the body of the email message.
