This dialog allows you to create or edit a scheduled item for a sample list. There are four types of scheduled item. Each scheduled item is of one type, but you can create multiple scheduled items, which can each be any type. In the task tab, you can select the type, from the following options:
In the task tab, the following options are available:
Telephony: Allows you to schedule start/end times for the telephony system. Note that this feature works only in an integrated telephony environment.
Send N invitation emails: Allows you to send invitation e-mails to respondents/panelists at the specified intervals. Enter the number of invitation e-mails you would like to send each time the scheduled item runs. For example, if you want to send them out in batches of 100, you would enter 100. To send all invitations out at once, enter 0.
Send reminder mail: Allows you to send reminder e-mails to respondents/panelists who have been invited, but have not yet taken part in the survey. Enter the maximum number of reminders you want to be sent to each respondent/panelist, along with the time interval that must have elapsed, since the previous email sent to them, before a reminder will be sent.
Update with external data: Allows you to import data into the list at the specified intervals. You can specify which fields to update (all, all dynamic fields, all export fields or selected fields). You can also choose to add new contacts (either all, or up to a certain maximum).
Switch contacts from web to telephony: this set of options allows you to schedule the list to be switched over from Web interviewing to CATI. For further details, see conducting multi-mode surveys. The following sub-options are available:
Time since last web activity: Specifies in days, hours and minutes the time that must have elapsed for a given contact since he/she took part in the Web interview, before he/she will be eligible for CATI interviewing.
Include contacts which were mailed, but didn't reply: If selected, any contacts who were emailed Web interviewing invitations, but did not take part in the survey, will still be contacted in CATI mode.
Include contacts which started an interview, but abandoned it: If selected, any contacts started the Web survey, but abandoned it part-way through, will still be contacted in CATI mode.
