This tab of the survey task properties window shows the sample lists associated with the task or outbound group. The possible statuses for a sample list are as follows:
| Status | Description |
|---|---|
|
|
The sample list is stopped. |
|
|
The sample list is running - its fieldwork is live. |
|
|
The sample list is running in brief mode for agent training. In brief mode, no data will be recorded. A list can be set to run in brief mode in a task's dialing properties (and can be over-ridden in the settings for an outbound group). |
Along with the list name and status, the tab has two further columns:
Mailing Available: Indicates the number of addresses available for mailing (i.e. invites to take part in Web interviewing), taking into account quotas.
The tab contains the following options:
List selection order: Defines a specific order in which the survey task's lists will be used. To specify the order, simply organize them in ascending order, using the following buttons:
![]()
![]()
To change the list order, you can also right-click a list and select move up or move down.
The sample list box contains the following context (right-click) menu commands:
Move up: Move the list upwards. To change the list order, you can also use the list selection order buttons (see above).
Move down: Move the list downwards. To change the list order, you can also use the list selection order buttons (see above).
Activate: Make the selected list active, if it has previously been set as inactive.
Deactivate: Make the selected list inactive. Making a list inactive is a good way to temporarily prevent it from being used with a survey task (without having to remove it, and then add it when you want to make it available again). Inactive lists are shown in grey, and cannot be started until they are activated again.
Start: Start the selected sample list's target fieldwork.
Stop: Stop the selected list.
Properties: View and change the properties for the selected list.
