Creating a Click & Go Supervisor file through CCA Portal

Note: The Click & Go executable you create with the following procedure will connect to the CCA using the login credentials you used to create the executable. For example, if you create the executable when signed into the CCA Portal with your own login, then the resulting Click & Go executable will connect to the CCA with your login details. For this reason, if you are creating a Click & Go file for someone else, then you should first create a supervisor login for them, apply the appropriate restrictions, such as setting the available surveys, and then log into the portal with this account to create the Click & Go executable. See below for details of the API/coding options you should set on the restriction pattern.

 

To create a Click&Go executable through CCA Portal:

  1. If you are creating the Click & Go executable for someone else, create an agent account for them, and set up the appropriate restrictions. Ensure that the restriction pattern you apply to the person's agent account has all of the restrictions selected on the API/coding tab, as follows:
  2. In a web browser, connect to CCA Portal (for example at http://show.askia.com/CcaPortal).

  3. Decide which agent account you want the Click & Go executable to connect as, and log in to the CCA Portal with that agent account.

  4. In the left-hand pane, click Click & Go.

  5. Beneath this, click supervisor:

  6. Follow the instructions on screen to save the Click & Go executable.

  7. If you created the Click & Go executable for someone else, you can now send it to them.
