A coding group is used for coding a survey after it has run. Note that this is only for use with the askiafield API, and is not implemented in CCA/Supervisor. To add a new coding group, right-click in the groups window and select new coding group. To edit an existing one, double-click it, or right-click it and select properties.

Task: The survey task associated with the group. Click ... and select a task from the list.

Source question: The open question that is to be coded. Only one question may be selected.
Context: The questions, if any, that you want to display to the agent for contextual information. You can select one or more questions.
Target question: The single or multi-coded question that will be used for coding the open question (i.e. the question which contains the code-frame). Only one question may be selected.
Interview selection: Specifies which interviews will be presented to the coding group:
All interviews: every interview, whether complete or incomplete;
All completes: only completed interviews;
All incompletes: only incomplete interviews.
Additional filter: This field allows you to define a filter, like sub-populations in askiadesign, so that only the specified interviews are presented to the coding group. For example, you might create a sub-population relating to the respondent's language in a multi-lingual survey, in order to have a coding group dedicated to a specific language. To open the sub-population definition window, click .... For details on defining sub-populations, see the AskiaDesign Assistant.
