Conducting an interview (AskiaFace for iOS)

To start an interview, locate the survey in the survey list, tap the survey name and then tap new interview. The interviewing screen appears:

Use the various on-screen controls to enter the respondent's answers. You can navigate through the questionnaire with the back and next buttons:

Abandoning an interview

You can abandon an in-progress interview by tapping surveys (located at the top left hand corner of the screen). An alert appears:

• Abandon: the interview will be abandoned, and all collected data for this interview will be deleted from the iPad.
• Save: the interview will be paused, and all collected data for this interview will be saved on the iPad until it is either completed or deleted.
• Cancel: resumes the interview .

Completing an interview

When you complete the last question of a survey, you will see the following alert:

Respond to the alert as follows:

• New interview: immediately begin a new interview.
• Cancel: return to the list of available surveys.
