Connecting a Windows PC/Tablet interviewing device to CCA

To enable a Windows™ PC/tablet to connect to CCA, you need to enter the TCP/IP details into the interviewing platform you are using (AskiaFace).

You will need to approach your system administrator for the connection details of the CCA, such as IP address, port, and encrypted port (these details are configured when the CCA is installed).

To set up a connection to the CCA:

  1. In AskiaFace, click manage. The settings dialog appears.
  2. Click the CCA tab.
  3. In CCA IP-address, enter the CCA’s URL or IP address.
  4. In CCA port, enter the CCA’s port number.
  5. In CCA port encrypted, enter the port to be used for encrypted information.
  6. Click the security tab, and ensure the agent’s user name and password are entered. If you wish the agent to log in automatically without having to enter these credentials each time, select automatically logon.
  7. Click the default connection tab. Click the connection you want to use as the default for CCA connections, and click set as default.
  8. Click OK.
